Who we are

We’re a curious, adventurous family of four from New Zealand’s Kāpiti Coast, redefining “home” one horizon at a time. In 2024, we sold our house, packed our belongings into a shipping container, and set off to explore the world—driven by a post-pandemic awakening, rising costs of living, and an craving for freedom and connection.

Over the past six months, we’ve soaked in Bali’s vibrant culture, wandered Koh Samui’s palm-fringed beaches, navigated Malaysia’s bustling markets, and are currently embracing Australia’s sun-soaked Gold Coast. But this journey isn’t just about places—it’s about the people.

We’ve been humbled by the kindness of strangers turned friends, awed by diverse ways of life, and committed to raising our children as global citizens, with the world as their classroom.

We’re here to prove that life doesn’t have to fit a template. Whether swapping stories over street food or figuring out how to homeschool between time zones, we’re learning, growing, and choosing adventure over ‘societal norms’ every day.
